Who can use iCONECT SaaS?
Ideal for situations that require secure web-based multi-party access to documents and data. iCONECT SaaS can be used for document management and document review for law firms, corporations, and government clients or put in place by vendors who service those sectors. This all-in-one system is designed for easy onboarding into a secure and feature-rich document review platform.
Can vendors supplement their own on-prem solution and also place projects in iCONECT SaaS?
Yes. Many vendors offer multiple solutions and the simplicity of the iCONECT SaaS system is ideal for vendors to expand their offerings without committing to infrastructure.
How is iCONECT SaaS different than working directly with an iCONECT Legal Service Provider (LSP)?
With iCONECT SaaS, vendors can augment the review tool by providing project consultation, project management, importing/exporting/production assistance, AI setup/monitoring, and other project support.
What infrastructure supports iCONECT SaaS?
The iCONECT SaaS system runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure located in the USA. Other geographic regions may be available upon request and for an additional cost.
Is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) available?
Our SaaS environment is protected by using Cisco Duo. Duo MFA is enabled for ALL users that log into the system through a self-enrollment process.
Understanding that this is a multi-tenant system, can I get my own independent system as an option?
Yes. Individual client systems can be set up, talk to your iCONECT representative for pricing. Contact sales@iconect.com
Are iCONECT’s AI capabilities included?
Yes. Capabilities include email threading, near-duplicate detection, conceptual search, PII identification, CAL and TAR along with exclusive iCONECT AI features like Oversight (review metrics management) and Xmplar (custom find similar).
LICENSING
Do I need to execute a contract for iCONECT SaaS?
Yes, but we have made it very simple and easy to get started. The simple contract will also include optional commitment length and storage volumes.
Can I still choose to host the iCONECT review platform behind my own firewall (aka “on-prem”)?
Yes.
As an existing iCONECT licensee, do I need a different iCONECT license from my existing ‘on-prem’ iCONECT license?
Yes. You will need to sign an addendum to add this as a system under your current contract. This gives you the opportunity and flexibility to expand your offering as needed. Contact sales@iconect.com
Is there a minimum fee per month?
The iCONECT minimum monthly rate is incredibly competitive at $250 per month.
Does iCONECT SaaS provide the same features as iCONECT on-prem?
Yes. iCONECT SaaS and iCONECT ‘on-prem’ will both be kept current with all the latest features.
PRICING
What is included in my licensing fee?
Fees include all iCONECT product end-user functionality including automated redaction, PII search, importing/processing, production, support, and AI features.
How are GB calculated?
The monthly billing volume will be the cumulative total of imported natives/images, indexes (search/analytics/redaction), internal imaging, redactions, productions, cache and logs.
When is the volume calculated for billing purposes?
Rather than calculating your data volume on peak data throughout the month, iCONECT SaaS provides you flexibility to manage your data throughout the month and then iCONECT summarizes your data on the last day of the month. Some conditions may apply: Contact sales@iconect.com
How can I decrease my per GB cost?
Pricing flexibility includes a potential reduction in GB pricing based on a longer-term commitment or a higher volume of hosted data.
Is there a pre-pay or deposit required?
No.
Are month-to-month rates available?
Yes.
What is the ‘Price Protect’ option?
Our Price Protect feature provides automatic bulk discounting as the volume grows. It also gives you flexibility if your volume decreases. By signing up for iCONECT SaaS Price Protect for a minimum of 12 months, your pricing will automatically adjust to the tier your monthly volume falls in – both up and down! DATA AND DOCUMENTS
Can I load pre-processed data?
Yes. Industry-standard delimited files can be loaded into templated field structures.
Does iCONECT have several levels of ‘active’ data storage?
No. All storage is in a single tier and is charged at the same price.
Can cases/documents be archived?
Yes, and at a reduced price based on limited real-time access. Contact your iCONECT representative for details.
ADMINISTRATION
Can I load pre-processed data?
Yes. Processed data containing load files with industry-standard or custom delimiters, images, natives, and text files can be loaded into iCONECT
Is ‘native file processing’ included?
Yes. With drag/drop capability, the system can automatically process hundreds of standard and non-standard file types to reduce set up time. Processing incorporates template-based field mapping for project consistency, expansion of container files to the bottom level, and optional deduplication and date filtering. More complex processing may require additional resources which may be offered at additional cost.
USERS
Is training available?
Yes. End-user videos, Project Management training, and Client Administrator training is included and available through iCONECT’s Continuous Online iCONECT Learning (COIL) System. All training is self-paced.
Can a user on iCONECT SaaS access multiple projects?
Yes. Further, each project can be set with its own user-based security profile.
Can a user on an on-prem system get access to iCONECT SaaS?
Yes. Users will need to be set up in both systems.
