Director, Incident Response Product

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our incident response solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product management experience, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity challenges and data mining techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, roadmap, and deliver innovative solutions that empower organizations to effectively respond to cyber incidents.  You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, create compelling content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and market penetration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product vision and strategy for cyber data mining solutions focused on incident response, aligning with company goals and market needs.
  • Content Development: Create engaging marketing collateral, including case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and product datasheets that effectively communicate product benefits and use cases.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop training materials and tools that equip them to effectively sell the incident response products.  Engage with clients in pre-sales support and product overviews with sales team.  Participate in trade shows and conferences.
  • Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers and industry stakeholders to gather feedback, understand pain points, and refine marketing strategies.
  • Thought Leadership: Position the company as a thought leader in cyber data mining and incident response by contributing to industry publications, webinars, and conferences.
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demands.
  • User Experience: Advocate for user-centered design principles to create intuitive, effective, and efficient user experiences for incident response tools.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, user satisfaction, and overall impact on incident response effectiveness.
  • Training and Support: Maintain training materials and conduct sessions for internal teams and customers to ensure effective product usage and adoption.
  • Incident Response Leadership: Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and incident response best practices to inform product decisions and enhance customer offerings.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred OR 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on cybersecurity or data mining solutions.
  • Prior experience in data mining specific to incident response is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response frameworks, and data mining techniques.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products from conception to market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.
